Questions before you choose your samples
What will this sample help me decide?
Use your selected wood and finish sample to compare the real material with your flooring, wall color and upholstery. View it in the room where the furniture will be used, in daylight and under your usual evening lighting.
How much does each sample cost?
Each sample costs $10. The sample purchase is credited toward a furniture order placed within 100 days under our sample-credit policy.
Do I return the samples after choosing a finish?
No. Keep the samples for reference while you plan the room and coordinate other purchases.
How large is the sample?
Samples are approximately 3 by 5 inches. Exact size and grain pattern can vary slightly between workshops.
Is this an actual piece of finished wood?
Yes. The sample is real wood finished by the Amish workshop that builds the furniture, so you can see how the material and finish look together.
Will my furniture look exactly like this sample?
A sample helps you judge the finish, but natural grain and tone vary from board to board. A larger surface and the lighting in your room can also change the appearance.
Should I order more than one finish?
Two or three favorites make comparison easier. Place them together beside the surfaces you intend to keep and look at them at different times of day.
Can the same finish look different on another wood?
Yes. Grain and natural wood color affect the result. Match both the wood species and finish to the combination offered for your furniture.
How will I know when my samples are on the way?
Samples ship with tracking so you can follow the delivery. Check the current dispatch estimate or contact Ecommersify if you are planning around a particular date.
Why are some color choices unavailable after I select a wood?
The combinations follow the finishes offered for that wood. Select the wood, finish type and color together; “As offered for this wood” means that step has no separate choice for the selected combination.
