Alto kitchen island base, made for your kitchen

An open slat shelf puts baskets and everyday cookware within reach. The 2620 adds a second drawer and an enclosed cabinet; the compact 2621 keeps the lower storage open.

Base only — choose and purchase your top separately. Photographs show the base with separately sold tops and may include optional storage accessories, stools or room decorations. The price on this page includes the selected island base only. A countertop, stools and room accessories are not included.

Handmade in America from solid hardwood, with heirloom-quality construction and your choice of wood and finish. Finished selections receive a hand-rubbed finish; unfinished selections omit it. Hardware and drawer mechanisms are non-wood components.

Choose your storage layout and dimensions

Base dimensions exclude the separately purchased top and optional caster hardware. Standard cabinet height is 34.5 inches; 40.5 inches is available in the height selector. Full-extension undermount soft-close drawer slides are standard.

Customize the base

Choose the model, wood species, cabinet height, finish treatment and color. Standard stain, paint, aged finishing and the listed specialty finishing packages have no finish surcharge. Antiquated finishing, select-color wood and custom color matching show their adjustments in the selectors. An unfinished base receives no stain, paint or protective finish.

Drawer hardware and the hinged-door hardware on model 2620 have separate model and finish choices. The door-free Alto 2621 has no door-hardware option.

Optional caster and storage choices appear only for the supported model. Selected pullout storage replaces the corresponding standard storage shelf. A trashcan pullout includes two 35-quart bins. Choose a storage arrangement before ordering; visible storage upgrades in a photograph are included only when selected.

Plan the top and placement

Choose a compatible top separately and account for its thickness, overhang and support requirements. A base dimension is not the countertop footprint. Measure doorways and the installation space before ordering.

Production, warranty and care

Made to order. Allow approximately 8 weeks for production plus 1–2 weeks for delivery. The product-page arrival window gives the current timing. The manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty applies to qualifying manufacturing defects for the original owner under its terms and exclusions.
